RULES OF FORUM CONDUCT

Each User agrees with his/her registration to the following forum rules. The NostaleUnderground Forum Staff holds up the right to warn, censor and ban Users if the Users do not obey to the rules. The rules apply for forums posts and personal messages. The NostaleUnderground Owners are not responsible for any posted pictures or links which are copyrighted.
The general language for this forum is English.
Forbidden:
- Posting contents and links of pornographic, politically or religiously extremist, moralistic dangerously and offending applicable law. This includes keys, hacks, cracks or other things of illegal nature, including illegal download pages and "warez", and includes discussion of these issues.
- Posting of any personal messages or discussions, without the consent of all involved parties. This clause applies to all nostale or non nostale systems of communication such as, but not limited to; private messages, MSN or Skype.
- Backseat Modding; when a User posts like a mod, e.g saying (when not being the Thread Starter) as the only sentence or smiley “Thread closed”.
- Redundant threads. Before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
- Contents, links, user Names etc. with the only aim to flame and insult other participants of the community. Same goes for trolling: posts solely intended to annoy other people or incite flames.
- Contents of inappropriate language and excessive cursing. Be respectful of others at all times. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.
- Harassing other forum users in any manner. This includes personal attacks on other users in the form of posts that demean, insult or cause explicit mental agony to any particular person who may or may not be a part of the NostaleUnderground community.
- Posting for Users banned on the Forum.
- Impersonation of Staff & Members. This includes Names, Avatars, Signatures and anything else. You are Expressly Forbidden from impersonating anyone else, including those named above, on the forum or in the game, even in jest. This may be grounds for permanent loss of your Forum account.
- Revealing personal information of others by any means whatsoever. Respect the privacy of your fellow community members.
- Discussion and Requests concerning banned Users on the Forum. Please get in contact to the staff member who banned you via PM, Email only.
- Publicising any private communication you had with a Game Master, Moderator, Web Admin or any other Admin/Service personnel of any of the Nostale services. This includes emails, forum messages, in-game chats and any other method of correspondence that you might have used to communicate with them.
Moderators:
- User permissions such as reading, writing, replying to posts may vary between different sections of the forum. The moderators can and will change these rights as and when found necessary.
- Moderators have the right to suspend your user account completely or partially for any amount of time as for any of the following. Non-compliance with forum rules of conduct, the posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.
